This Christmas we have lots of fun events and activities happening for our clients and their friends and family. Our Christmas activities include: day trips, our christmas fair, pantomime visits and more! Heathfield Lights Switch On
The clients at Tinkers Hatch recently attended the Christmas Light Switch On on the 21st of November. We also sponsored a tree in the Union Church as part of their Christmas Tree Fesitval.
This natural, beautiful and aromatic ‘Christmas Tree’ has been made by Tinkers Hatch (residential home for people with learning disabilities) alongside East Hoathly & Halland Community Garden Project (providing therapeutic gardening for all in a safe, supportive environment).
Our ‘Christmas Tree’ was lovingly made and weaved from our own willow, holly and ivy. We also enjoyed making the dried orange slices with mixed spice, cinnamon and cloves.
We hope you love it as much as we do!!
Hawkes Farm Christmas Fayre
On Saturday 29th of November some of the clients at Tinkers Hatch will be attending Hawkes Farm’s Christmas Fayre in Hailsham.
Pantomime and Carols
On Wednesday 17th of december we have a pantomime group visiting us here at Tinkers; we will also be doing some carolling!
Winter Wonderland Theatre
On December 5th our friends at Winter Wonderland Theatre Group will be visiting Tinkers for a fun filled festive performance! We can’t wait to welcome them to Tinkers and enjoy an afternoon of Christmas fun!
Christmas Jumper Day
December 11th at Tinkers is Christmas Jumper Day! Clients and support workers at Tinkers will be getting into the festive spirit by wearing Christmas jumpers! We can’t wait to see yours!
Cookery
We have John the musicman visiting us on the 19th of December for a festive themed performance! We look forward to welcoming him back to Tinkers.
Blue Camel Theatre
We will be attending Brighton Dome Exchange for a special Christmas outing presnted by Blue Camel Theatre on December 10th! The pantomime themed event features fancy dress, fairy tales, folk stories and classic panto favorites!
We also have a pantomime theatre group visiting us here at Tinkers earlier in the day for a festive pantomime celebration! Friends and family are more than elcome to join us for this festive event; we look forward to welcoming you!
Tinkers Christmas Fayre and Carols
We have our Christmas Fair happening here at Tinkers on the 12th of December.
We would like to invite you to our family and friends Christmas Fair on the 12th Dec 2-4pm. Please click the button below to confirm your attendance by email.
We are also holding a Christmas Tombola to raise some money for our Community Hub. If you would like to take part, bring a little bit of cash with you.
